Dr. Vanaeyah Tran
Dr. Vanaeyah Tran has lived in the Lehigh Valley with her growing family since 2013, while practicing as a general & cosmetic dentist. Dr. Tran is a native to Schuylkill County in the anthracite coal mining region. She has fond memories growing up in a small-town community with coal, corn, and cows. Dr. Tran’s mother is a florist and her father is an electronic technician.
She attended Temple University in Philadelphia, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Distinction in the Major, and Honors Certificate. She later attended Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. Dr. Tran is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Lehigh Valley Dental Society.
Dr. Tran is very family oriented and enjoys caring for children and adults comprehensively. Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen share four children together - three boys and a little girl. Much of their free time is spent with their children when not in the office. You more than likely have bumped into Dr. Tran with her family on at least one occasion enjoying a variety of family friendly activities in the Lehigh Valley.
Dr. Jackson Nguyen
Dr. Nguyen is a native to southern California, where he attended the University of California, Irvine, with a major in Biology. He then attended the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. Dr. Nguyen went on to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple University Hospital. During his time in residency, he obtained the necessary skills and training for advanced trauma and reconstruction, dental alveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, head and neck pathology, advanced and complex bone grafting, orthognathic corrective jaw surgery, and adult and pediatric intravenous sedation.
Dr. Nguyen is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member of the American Dental Association.

He is an attending Oral Surgeon for St. Luke’s University Hospital, Penn State Health - St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, as well as University of Pennsylvania and Lancaster General Hospital – University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. Nguyen also speaks Vietnamese (Bác sĩ Nguyễn nói tiếng Việt.).
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, looking for good places to eat, and finding good deals on the internet.
Breanna
Breanna is part of our dental team as a dental hygienist. She is from the Lehigh Valley and lives in Pen Argyl. She began her dental career in 2016 as a dental assistant. Wanting to expand her knowledge of dentistry, she attended Northampton Community College and graduated in 2018 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science, Dental Hygiene. She strives to provide the highest quality of care and is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health. Breanna looks forward to developing trusting relationships with all of her patients. In her time outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Cailyn
Cailyn is our treatment coordinator. She is one of the first and last smiling faces you will see as you check in or out in our front office, and may have been the kind voice to answer your call today.
Cailyn was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. She has experience working in the dental field in general dentistry as well as oral surgery, which makes her a great fit as part of our team. She is an alumnus of Moravian College with a bachelors in Psychology and Sociology. Cailyn is eager to advance her education and is currently working towards her Master's in Healthcare Administration at Purdue University.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with family and friends. Her most favorite excursion was to Aruba. She is an avid Philly sports fan and loves to watch and attend their games. We are so happy to have Cailyn with us as part of the team here at Nurture Dental Health.
Elizabeth (Lizzie)
Elizabeth, or "Lizzie", as she is commonly referred to in our practice, is part of our dental team as a Dental Hygienist. She is a native of the Lehigh Valley, originally from Easton. She attended Northampton Community College to earn her Dental Hygiene degree.
She currently resides in Northampton with her fiancé (Jeff), dog (Honey B), and cat (Patches). In her free time she enjoys being outdoors and going on walks, going boating, or spending time with friends and family. We are so trilled to have her on the Nurture Dental Health team!
Ashleigh
Ashleigh is part of our dental team as an EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant). She has more than fifteen years of experience as an EFDA in the dental field. She started her career in dentistry when she was high school and has enjoyed serving patients and providing exceptional dental care ever since. Ashleigh is a graduate of Manor College with an Associate of Science degree and EFDA Licensure. In her spare time she loves to be with her husband and their two children and family dog, Cindy. Ashleigh enjoys being outdoors and trips to the Outer Banks and spending time with her extended family and great friends. Ashleigh's dental experience, high attention to detail, and willingness to help others in need has made her such a joy to be a part of our team and we are so happy to have her with us.
Brittany
Brittany is part of our dental team as a dental hygienist. She is originally from New Jersey and has relocated to the Lehigh Valley. Always look to Brittany to give you a thumbs up. It's so contagious, she's got the whole office doing it. Brittany is always helping behind the scenes to keep our office calm, cool, and collected.
Desiree
Desiree is part of our dental team as an oral surgery assistant. She is originally from New York and has lived in the Lehigh Valley most of her adult life. Desiree is our lead assistant for Oral Surgery with Dr. Nguyen. She has earned her DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination) certification. She has had other positions outside of dentistry, as a CNA as well as a body piercer. However, her love for continuing her education and assisting in oral surgery has lead her straight to our practice. Look for her to say something that eases your anxieties during your surgery appointment and leaves you with a smile on your face. Her positive attitude is something to appreciate as part of your visit with us. She is such a great asset to our team and is often found helping to open and close our office and helping the rest of our team with sterilization needs. We are so thankful to have Desiree as part of our team here at Nurture Dental Health.
Yismeiry (Mary)
Yismeiry, or "Mary" as she is commonly referred to in our practice, is part of our dental and administrative team at our office, as a dental assistant. Her eagerness to learn, flexibility to take on new challenges, and interest in dentistry has brought her straight to our team. Yismeiry is bilingual, fluent in English as well as Spanish. Her willingness to help when there is a need makes her a fundamental part of our team.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband. Yismeiry is such a joy to have as part of our team here at Nurture Dental Health.
Katelyn (Katie)
Katelyn, or "Katie" as she is commonly referred to in our practice, is part of our Oral Surgery dental team as a Nurse. She assists the Oral Surgeon in surgeries for patients undergoing sedation-type appointments. She helps with monitoring patients' vital signs as well as tending to their comfort and safety while undergoing surgery appointments.
Katie is from Reading, PA and holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) from Bloomsburg University. She has a wealth of experience with treating and caring for patients under sedation as she been working in the Oral Surgery field since 2013. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks and hikes with her two doodle dogs and spending time with family and friends.
Katie has great attention for detail and has a gift for assessing the needs of her patients and those around her. We are so grateful to have Katie as part of our team here at Nurture Dental Health.
Patricia (Pattie)
Patricia is part of our dental team as a dental assistant. Patricia is originally from the Dominican Republic, but went to school in New York City before moving to Allentown, PA. Patricia is bilingual, fluent in English as well as Spanish. Her desire to learn and assist when there is a need makes her a crucial part of our team.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and her chihuahua named "Chapi". Patricia is always helping behind the scenes and chairside with the doctors to make sure our patients have a pleasant experience and we are proud to be part of her dental career and to have her on our team here at Nurture Dental Health.
Ashley
Ashley is part of our administrative team at Nurture Dental Health. She is originally from the Lehigh Valley but has also enjoyed living in Florida for about 10 years. While in Florida she obtained her EFDA certification and worked clinically during that time. When she moved back to the Lehigh Valley, she was given the opportunity to work extensively with the administrative needs of dentistry, including dental insurance claims and billing while also coordinating treatment for patients. Her clinical experience has played a significant role in her understanding the administrative side of dentistry as her clinical background has given her a deeper understanding of the dentistry when helping patients over the phone as well as discussing treatment plans and serving as a liaison between our patients and understanding their insurance benefits.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her two boys that keep her busy and on the run. She enjoys going to the beach, traveling, day trips and doing just about anything to be outside during the nice weather months.
Jayleen
Jayleen is part of our clinical team as an Oral Surgery Assistant. Jayleen moved to the Lehigh Valley from Puerto Rico where she attended art school for ceramics. She has been working the dental field for more than 7 years. She has experience working in the dental laboratory as well with fabrication of dentures.
In her free time she enjoys learning new things and is currently learning Japanese.
Melissa
Melissa is part of our clinical team as an EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant). She is originally from Allentown.
Melissa has more than 25 years experience in the dental field, with more than 16 years as an EFDA. She enjoys interacting with her patients on a personal level and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure her patients are comfortable while receiving care.
When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her grand daughters and spending summer weekends in Maryland, at the beach.
Maria
Maria is part of our front office reception and administrative team as one of our Insurance Coordinators. She is from the Lehigh Valley.
She has been working in the dental field for more than 6 years, specializing in insurance, administration, and account billing. She has experience with both Oral Surgery as well as General Dentistry. She is a great resource for our patients trying to understand their insurance benefits and can help you make the most of what benefits you have available to use towards your dental care. Her sister is also an EFDA which had sparked her initial interest in the dental field.
When she is out of the office, she is a very involved mom. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
Samantha
Samantha is part of our clinical team as an Oral Surgery assistant. She was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley.
She has been working in the dental field for more than 12 years and has clinical experience in both General Dentistry as well as Oral Surgery. She is a busy mom of four, and a dog mom to "Cooper." When she is not at the office she enjoys going for walks and going to the beach.
